Under the able leadership of Principal Dr. M. Vijaya Bharathi, Government Degree College Chintapalli has taken strong and effective measures to eliminate ragging and ensure a safe and friendly environment for all students.

Ragging is a serious issue that affects the mental and emotional well-being of students. Understanding its harmful impact, the college administration has implemented strict anti-ragging policies. Awareness programs, seminars, and orientations are regularly conducted to educate students about the consequences of ragging and the importance of mutual respect.

The college has established an Anti-Ragging Committee and Anti-Ragging Squad to monitor student behavior and prevent any such incidents on campus. Strict rules and regulations are enforced, and students are encouraged to report any form of ragging without fear.

Principal Dr. M. Vijaya Bharathi has played a key role in promoting discipline and a positive campus culture. She emphasizes values such as respect, equality, and unity among students. Faculty members also actively support students and ensure a friendly atmosphere.

As a result of these efforts, the college campus has become ragging-free, creating a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment for new and existing students.

INSUFFICIENT WATER SUPPLY

The issue of insufficient water supply at GDC Chintapalli has become a serious concern for students and staff.

Water is a basic necessity for drinking, sanitation, and maintaining hygiene, but the current situation on campus does not meet these essential needs. Students are facing difficulties in accessing clean and adequate water throughout the day, which is affecting their health and overall well-being.

The shortage becomes more severe during hot weather, increasing the risk of dehydration and fatigue.

In addition, the lack of proper water facilities creates inconvenience in restrooms and hostel areas, leading to unhygienic conditions. This problem also disrupts the daily routine and academic focus of students, as they have to spend time searching for water instead of concentrating on their studies.

Immediate attention from the concerned authorities is required to resolve this issue. Steps such as improving water storage facilities, ensuring regular supply, and maintaining proper infrastructure should be taken without delay.

Providing a consistent and safe water supply will not only improve living conditions but also create a healthier and more productive environment for everyone at GDC Chintapalli.
